CREATIVE STRATEGY

SO YOU'VE GOT A FEW IDEAS. NOW WHAT?

Having ideas is great. Having seventeen of them, all competing for attention, is a different story. Especially when you've got a business to run, people to convince and a budget you'd rather not burn through.

That's where we come in. We help you sort through what's worth pursuing, question the things everyone seems to have agreed on and spot opportunities you might not have considered. Sometimes that means making a plan. Sometimes it means coming up with something entirely different.

You'll have a direction worth pursuing, and a good reason for pursuing it.

THERE'S USUALLY MORE TO IT THAN THAT.

Creative strategy helps businesses make better decisions about what to create, change, communicate or pursue. We look at the business, the people it's trying to reach, and the opportunities worth exploring, then develop ideas and recommendations that have a reason behind them.

WHERE TO PUT YOUR ENERGY.

Too many priorities, too many possibilities or a new opportunity you're not sure how to approach? We help identify what's worth your time, attention and investment.

WHAT COULD WORK BETTER.

Sometimes the problem isn't the messaging or the design. We look at what's happening, question assumptions and explore what might need to change.

WHO YOU'RE ACTUALLY TALKING TO.

You might know who your customers are, but do you know what matters to them? We explore their needs, motivations and behaviours to find opportunities for a more meaningful connection.

HOW TO STAND APART.

Whether you're entering a new market, launching something or trying to get noticed in a crowded one, we help find an approach that makes sense for your business and your audience.

WHAT TO SAY (AND HOW TO SAY IT).

Positioning, messaging, content strategy, campaign concepts, and creative direction all have a part to play when the challenge is getting the right people to understand, care or act.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

We turn the strongest thinking into strategic recommendations, creative concepts or practical plans that give your team something useful to work with.

GOOD THINKING SHOULD LEAD TO SOMETHING.

The best ideas don't just sound good in a meeting. They give you something to work with: decisions you can make with confidence, opportunities worth exploring and a plan for making things happen.

Depending on what you need, that might be a positioning or messaging framework, a campaign strategy, a creative concept, strategic recommendations or a practical roadmap. We'll explain what we're recommending and why, so you're not left wondering how we got there.

You can get stuck in or leave it to us. Some clients love getting involved, challenging ideas and working through the possibilities together. Others would rather hand us the challenge and let us get on with it. We're happy either way.

Want us to help bring it to life? We'd love to. Already have a team who can take it from here? Brilliant. The strategy is yours to run with.

THE THINKING BEHIND THE DOING.

The finished work is usually what people see. What they don't always see is the thinking that got it there.

Different businesses, different challenges, different directions. Here are a few examples of how research, questions and a fresh perspective helped shape what happened next.

POWERED BY DIVERSITY

SOMETIMES THE BRIEF IS JUST THE BEGINNING.

Powered by Diversity came to us looking for new fonts, a colour palette and a few assets for their websites. But as we talked, they kept coming back to something bigger: they wanted to capture people's attention and drive more traffic to specific offerings.

A change of fonts and colours alone wasn't going to do that. We helped rethink the creative direction, developing a new look and tone of voice designed to make their communications more engaging, distinctive and cohesive.

GINAGAIN

A MILLION IDEAS. ONE BRAND.

The founders of Ginagain weren't short on ideas. They had plenty of them, along with plans to bring their gin to the UK market. What they needed was a way to bring it all together.

We helped give those ideas some structure, developing a cohesive brand direction that could work across messaging, content, marketing materials and their trade show presence. Enough consistency to make the brand recognisable, without losing the personality that made it interesting in the first place.

KINK DOCTOR

A NEW MARKET CALLS FOR A FRESH PERSPECTIVE.

When New York-based Dr. Dulcinea Alex Pitagora wanted to make Kink Doctor more appealing to a European audience, the brief was a brand refresh.
But before changing how the brand looked or sounded, we needed to understand whom it was trying to reach. We researched the European market and used what we learned to inform the brand's positioning, messaging and visual direction.

The result was a refreshed identity, logo and website, all developed with that new audience in mind.

LET'S SEE WHAT WE CAN MAKE OF IT.

Bring us the challenge, the half-formed idea or the question nobody's quite answered yet. We'd love to hear what you're thinking and help figure out where to take it.
